The Dolomiti Superski area includes San Martino di Castrozza, Passo Rolle and Primiero. Here you can ski in the scenario of the Pale di San Martino, in fact most of the tracks are within the Paneveggio Pale Natural Park and down the valley along gentle slopes.

Overall the area offers nearly 60 kilometres of slopes with 23 lifts. Height followed with skis ranging from 1.400 meters to 2.357, at the foot of Cima Tognola. A cable car arrives on the opposite side, just below the Cima Rosetta, but here there aren’t slopes that lead down. In this ski area, tracks amount to a total 46 kilometres, 18 of which are easy, 21 medium difficulty and the remaining 7 kilometres are challenging tracks. These are located in Alpe Tognola and Punta Ces. Side of the Pale, the track Colverde with its lighting is equipped to travel even at night, it is 2 kilometres long and has 500 meters of altitude with moderate difficulty. This track, which arrives in the town centre, is illuminated by an unusual system of large bulbs. You can ski Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 19:30 to 23. Along the Scandola there is a Snowpark, this has a free access and is equipped with facilities for fans of the table and also offers ski specialist, here there are two ski schools.

The altar of Passo Rolle is also equipped with Snowpark immersed in an almost wild landscape. The area has about 10 kilometres of slopes served by 4 lifts and a ski lift. There is also an area dedicated to cross country skiing. It must be said that in this ski area the ski bus is free all over.

San Martino and cross country skiing

The district has a total of 30 kilometres of trails for cross country skiing with two equipped centres. The local cross country ski centre, near the town, has 9 kilometres of tracks on three rings, a kilometres is the length of the school ring and 3 kilometres are of medium difficulty, the ring instead of 5 kilometres is far more challenging. The Centro Fondo Passo Cereda (passo Cereda cross country ski centre) covers 15 kilometres in length. The tracks are challenging, well-equipped and paid. Here are also held international competitions so that there are only few kilometres of tracks for beginners. Others are located 5 kilometres from Lake Calaita other 15 from Fiera di Primiero here the tracks are easy and flat.
